Ingenuity Cozy Coo Sway Seat Review

baby gear swing I am preparing to bring a newborn into our home with a very busy toddler. To make this transition a smoothe one, I am looking into a good baby swing or seat. My daughter will need a safe place to go when I’m helping our toddler,“B”, with a diaper change or when he needs something and my hands are tied.

We received the Cozy Coo Sway Seat from Ingenuity by Bright Starts. While I was excited to see it put together, the instructions made me want to wait for my husband’s help. I didn’t even open the box until “B” was down for his afternoon nap and my husband was available to help me make sense of the directions. I’m not saying that putting the Cozy Coo Sway Seat together was a difficult thing to do, just my past experiences with previous baby gear installations did not go so well and some of them would probably make you laugh.

When it was time, I decided to look over the booklet before even trying to put the parts together. It was helpful to look over each step and identify the parts before I just dove in.

End result?

I got the Cozy Coo Sway Seat together by myself, at 8 months pregnant, and in under 15 minutes!

Don’t worry, I can hear the applause… thank you, thank you!

Basically, putting this seat together is easy to do and I must say, so cute when it’s done!

The details of the Cozy Coo Sway Seat:

Sumner Fashion Print: This print is full of blues, grays, with accents of pink and purple. Perfect for a little boy or a girl!

– The Cradling Seat: The Cozy Coo Sway seat is soo soft! I totally rubbed it on my face a little. The fabric is also removable which makes this seat very easy to clean.

– Hybridrive: I love that this seat is versatile and will allow me to run it on 4 D size batteries, or when needed we can even plug it into the wall.

– Comfort Recline: I’ve seen a lot of swings that resemble the look of a car seat. The Cozy Coo Sway Seat is great because it will allow you to choose from 3 adjustable positions, so your baby can recline and sleep peacefully from 6-25 lbs.

– Calming Sounds, Adjustable Speeds, & Vibrations: I like that the speeds can be adjusted and with the TrueSpeed technology, speed will be maintained even as the baby grows. Along with the speeds, there are soothing vibrations, and several melodies to choose from.

I’ve seen bouncy seats that vibrate, but have you ever used a baby swing that vibrates too?

– Space Saving Design: The Cozy Coo Sway Seat was designed to take up 30% less space than regular full size swings. This is a great feature for small places, along with all of the features of a premium full size swing.

I am anxious to see if our daughter likes this Cozy Coo Sway Seat from Ingenuity by Bright Starts, because I sort of wish they made one in a size I’d fit in! How nice would a nap be in this seat?!
