I received the Case Logic Reflexion Large DSLR Sling for purpose of this review. All thoughts are my own.
I recently purchased a new camera and needed a safe way to travel with my gear on our Babymoon to Hawaii. I wanted something that was comfortable and versatile. The Case Logic Reflexion Large DSLR Sling definitely fits the bill.
When I first opened the large compartment I thought the zipper was bulky and cumbersome but after using it a few times I have found that it actually just needed to be broken in and is a swell closure to the Reflexion.
Inside, a removable cushioned camera pod with adjustable storage walls protects a DSLR camera, 1-2 additional lenses or flash and accessories. Remove the pod and your case transforms to a comfortably padded day bag with dedicated storage for a tablet or 13″ laptop and plenty of room for other essentials.
I love the little pockets found everywhere; the camera pod, divider in the pod, two inside the large compartment, and a bunch more on the front of the Reflexion Sling. I am packing for our trip and knowing there’s a dedicated spot for extra batteries, my external hard drive, and lens filters makes me happy!
I also really love the straps on one side with the anti-slip bottom made to hold a tripod folded up neatly. The adjustable strap makes it easy for my husband or I to trade off who is carrying the Reflexion Large DSLR Sling.
The structure and durable material of the Sling looks tough enough for my needs. I know it will get a lot of use! I trust that Case Logic’s Reflexion Large DSLR Sling will keep my equipment safe during our travels and will last a long time.
I also like that when we don’t need the Case Logic’s Reflexion Large DSLR Sling to carry photography equipment, the cushioned pod will come out and we can carry an iPad or laptop in it’s dedicated storage, pack snacks, spare clothes, or souvenirs when we’re exploring Honolulu!
