Why You Should Add a Purging Party To Your Spring Cleaning List

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fellowes Brands for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

When it comes to spring cleaning, there are always those road blocks. It seems like even if you’re the type of person who keeps your home in tip top condition all year round… there’s bound to be that one spot that you keep closed off from the world. Whether it’s a certain room, a junk drawer, or just an unorganized file cabinet… I don’t know of any single person that can honestly say they don’t have a single area that could benefit from some de-cluttering. Why You Should Add a Purging Party To Your Spring Cleaning List For us, it’s the paperwork. Between running my blog business, and the regular paperwork associate with an active family of four… being organized at all times isn’t an easy feat. For me, the true headache comes when trying to decide what to do with sensitive paperwork that we no longer need. Once I’ve determined that it’s trash, I have to figure out a way to dispose of it that isn’t going to leave our family’s personal information vulnerable. I’m so busy that these papers often get tossed to the side in a junk box, waiting for the me to figure it out. Why You Should Add a Purging Party To Your Spring Cleaning List   Or until spring cleaning, that is. Why You Should Add a Purging Party To Your Spring Cleaning List I highly recommend adding a “purging party” onto your spring cleaning list. This means setting aside a time when you’ll properly dispose of all that junk. I know, I know… time is precious and this sounds likes big project. If you have the right tools, it doesn’t have to be. I suggest investing in the Fellowes 79Ci shredder. This isn’t our average shredder! Fixing paper jams is also a thing of the past, since the Fellowes 79Ci has a patented 100% jam proof system that eliminates paper jams! Did I mention it’s quiet? You can shred ALL the junk you need to, without bothering anyone else because it comes equipped with Silent Shred Technology! I keep a shredder in my office and am getting better about removing paper clutter the moment it arrives. I need to purge in general at least once a month though.

I think spring cleaning can be kind of fun at times. I don’t mind cleaning when I’m actually in the mood to clean. I think a purging party would be great.
