Valentines Day Cookie Decorating with Skeeter Snacks

Shares

Just because it is Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean those with peanut allergies can’t enjoy a cookie decorating party! Last year we had an opportunity to try out Skeeter Snacks and we fell in love. When your child has a peanut allergy, there is great appreciation for companies who guarantee their products to be made in a 100% nut free facility. Skeeter Snacks does just that, every precaution is taken in the Skeeter Snacks facility to ensure that all products are clear from cross contamination.

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and Andrew has been in the mood to make treats for the occasion. At pre school they had a cookie decorating party and I think it totally put him in the holiday mood.

Skeeter Snacks offered to send us some goodies for Andrew to decorate for the Valentine’s Day holiday. Needless to say, when the box arrived on our doorstep it was opened and spread out on the table in a matter of minutes. I told you that he loves Skeeter!

We pulled out all of our cookie decorations, luckily Betty Crocker has a great variety of candy decorations that are safe for peanut allergies. My favorite cookie out of the Skeeter Snacks bunch is the chocolate, it’s so moist and really satisfies a chocolate craving! Andrew’s favorite is the chocolate chip cookies, and a close second are the golden oatmeal and then skeeter doodles.

Andrew and I had a great time this afternoon decorating Skeeter Snack cookies for Valentine’s Day. These cookies would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day party with your friends, or even at your child’s school! There are no worries about peanut contamination when purchasing a Skeeter Snack, and as a mom who has to deal with peanut allergy precautions on a daily basis, this makes me so very happy.

  • Great even if you don’t have a nut allergy!

About Skeeter Snacks –

Skeeter Snacks is the brainchild of 2 dads who became exhausted from buying expensive allergy food for their children who have a sensitivity to peanuts. They wanted a snack that not only had a lower price point but also tasted great. On all Skeeter Snacks products, Skeeter the squirrel is holding a sign that indicates no nuts, easy for anyone to pick off the shelf.
