Kid Friendly Chicken Kabobs – Peanuts Movie Inspired Snacks

I love classics! You know, those movies that never seem to get old… no matter how many years have passed. These goes for cartoons as well. When someone mentions classics, Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang is the first thing that comes to mind. No matter how much older I get, Charlie Brown still cracks me up just as much as he did when I was a kid.

My kids and I were equally excited for the premiere of the new Peanuts Movie that hit theaters November 16. In order to get prepared for the movie, however, I had to make sure they were up to date on their Charlie Brown knowledge. This meant an all weekend session to catch up on all of the Classic Peanuts films!

Of course, no Peanuts movie watch party is complete without snacks. They can’t just be any old snacks either… we needed Peanuts Movie inspired snacks to make it that much more exciting! In addition… we needed enough to be able to feed the entire family, without it taking a ton of time and money.

So… I did what any mother would do in that situation. I headed to Sam’s Club. Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips, an official sponsor of the new Peanuts Movie, are a favorite in our home. I love that their 3 lb bags have enough chicken to “Feed Your Whole Gang”, and the fact that they’re made with 100% natural ingredients and 15 grams of protein!

Since they’re already precooked, they Tyson’s Crispy Chicken Strips were super easy to use for my special Peanuts Movie watch party treat!  I made yummy kids chicken kabobs by layering pieces of the chicken with apples and cheese on a kabob stick! Easy to make, easy to clean up, and no messes in between. That’s what I like to call the perfect snack!
