The Joovy Noodle Helmet was provided for this review. All thoughts are my own.

It’s so fun to watch your children turn into toddlers. One moment they are scooting around on a push toy, the next minute they are wanting to ride on big brothers ride on toy. Andrea just turned 3 years old and we knew that it was time to graduate her from the walkers and push toys.. so we surprised her with a Joovy 4×4 Jeep ride on and Joovy Noodle helmet for her birthday.

Her face lit up with pure joy! You can tell how much she is enjoying becoming a big girl.

Since Andrea is ready to move up into the bigger toys, we needed to take precautions to keep her safe. It’s not just the jeep ride on that she wants to ride, it’s the scooters, bikes and everything that the bigger kids are riding on.

Joovy Noodle Helmet – Adjustable Head Protection for Kids! I remember when we purchased our first helmet for Andrew. It was made for toddlers, but inside it was full of removable velcro pieces to help you customize the fit. Andrew hated this helmet, the velcro pieces inside were uncomfortable, didn’t fit right and I never had a real sense that the helmet was secure on his precious head.

So just in time for Andrea to get her first helmet, Joovy released the Noodle helmet. This is like the helmets of all helmets.

Made for children from the age of 1 through the age of 4 years old, the Joovy Noodle helmet has to be the most adjustable and innovative helmet on the market.

Gone, are the days of removable velcro pieces inside of helmets. Joovy has integrated an adjustable dial on the back of the Noodle helmet, giving you a secure and comfortable fit each and every time.

Simply place the Joovy Noodle onto the child’s head and turn the dial, on the back of the helmet, in a clockwise direction until the helmet is snug.

Andrea loves to wear the Joovy Noodle when she’s outside, being a sensory craving child, the pressure from the helmet gives her a little squeeze that feels so good to her. Because of this, transition was easy. If I was to do it again, I might consider starting the helmet a little earlier in age. Though we didn’t have problems, a transition period could help with the learning period that comes with new things.

There are lots of things that we love about the Joovy Noodle!

The Joovy Noodle features 14 air vents, so no more super sweaty heads, an integrated bug mesh in the front vents, an extended visor to give that extra added protection to the face and pinch guard chin straps.

Andrea loves to rock out her stylish pink Joovy Noodle, we just happen to love how it matches her jeep. They have lots of other colors to pick from too, like red, greenie, blueberry and black.

My only wish… I would love to see the Joovy Noodle Helmet in larger sizes.
