How to Become a Parent Product Tester Through the PTPA Media Program

Have you heard of the Parent Tested Parent Approved program?

PTPA Media is a community made up of parents, like you and me, who chat together, share tips, feedback, and provide support to one another through a variety of channels.

PTPA is a free community to sign up for and they send out thousands of dollars in free products to parents each year for them to enjoy in exchange for their honest feelings and opinions of that product. Feedback from the parents is also sent to the companies, this information is invaluable to them and helps to shape the way products are made for our families. It’s the parents of the PTPA Media program who determine if that product should receive a Winner’s Seal or not.

What’s it mean when a product has a PTPA Winner Seal?

PTPA takes the guessing game out of shopping for your family, and when purchasing a product with this seal you can feel confident knowing that other parents have tested and approved of that product.

When shopping for Andrea’s birthday I couldn’t decide whether or not to buy the Fisher Price Animal Sounds Farm. She loved it so much in the store! But the price put me at a decision where I really needed to know if this would be something that she would play with for more than 5 minutes.

I noticed that this product had a PTPA Winner Seal on the box. I jumped online and went to the PTPA Media website and checked out the parent reviews at the Winners Circle. After seeing so many parents raving over this toy and how educational it was, my decision was made to purchase this for Andrea’s 2nd birthday.

Needless to say, this is the one toy that she won’t stop playing with.

After this experience, I knew the PTPA community was one to be apart of. I’m big on word of mouth and wanted to not only have a chance to try out free products that we might not have purchased otherwise, I wanted to be that voice to help other parents with their decisions on purchasing products that are right for their family.
