Honey Nut Cheerio Marshmallow Halloween Treats

One of my favorite parts of holiday displays at Target are the Jet-Puffed marshmallows. Kraft seems to have a new edition for every holiday and these Jumbo PumpkinMallows are one of my favorites!

Being a nut-free snack, we always grab a bag to snack on or to bake yummy treats with. We’ve been snacking on this bag all week! Check out the Spook tacular Brownie Pumpkin Patch that we made last year.

Last night, we were invited to a friends house for a game night. Since we already had dinner planned, we opted for desserts and snacks to be served. I remembered this big bag of PumpkinMallows and it spawned on me to make some marshmallow treats!

We didnt’ have rice crispies on hand so I twisted it up a little with some honey nut cheerios. My child is not allergic to almonds, if you have an almond allergy then another variety of cheerios would work just as well.

Everyone loved our fun Halloween treats, the kids thought that they looked like little monster eyes. Honey Nut Cheerio Marshmallow Halloween treats are fun for all!

  • 8 Cups – Honey Nut cheerios or another cheerio variety
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 10.5 Oz (aprox. 17 count) of Jet-Puffed Jumbo PumpkinMallows
  • Chocolate sprinkles to top the treats with

Spray a 9X13 pan with Pam (or another non-stick spray) and set aside. Place the marshmallows and butter into a deep pan and melt them on the stove low-medium heat, stirring often. Once completely melted, pour into the pan and press down to even it all out. Sprinkle with your chocolate sprinkles.

Let cool on the counter top for about 30 minutes and cut into squares. Store loosely covered.
