Here in the Midwest, we take our BBQ seriously! If the weather is nice (heck, even when it isn’t) we find any and every reason to fire up the grill. We even travel with them! It doesn’t matter if we’re tailgating at sporting event with thousands of our closest buddies, or having a more intimate backyard get together at our own home… it’s the perfect occasion to throw some meat on the grill!
What is at the heart of every BBQ?
The Ball Park Park’s Finest of course!
I’m not sure there’s any real wrong way to cook them, but there are some tips you can use to make sure yours stand out from the crowd!
Start With a Clean Grill
This is important. It doesn’t matter if you have a charcoal grill, or a gas grill, it’s important that you keep it nice and clean (it’s also a good safety precaution as well). This is allow the taste of your food to shine through, and not get gunked up with ashes or anything else that may be lingering on the grill from the last event.
Have All Your Supplies Handy
This is an important one too! The worst thing ever is to have your Ballpark’s Finest ready to come off the grill only to realize that you forgot to grab a pan or plate to put them one! Which brings us to the next point…
Your grill is your throne, and you must protect it at all cost. Stand watch over the grill anytime that it is lit. This is not only to keep an eye on your food, but to keep the situation safe for your family and guest as well.
Rotate Your Franks Often
This, in my opinion, is the most important tip! Doesn’t matter what you’re using to fuel your grill, you can achieve the perfect lines on your Ball Park Park’s Finest by turning them often. These lines are what separate the beginners from the pros!
Truth of the matter is, your Ball Park Park’s Finest are probably going to taste amazing no matter how you decide to cook them. These tips will just help you boost it up to the next level!
Our family’s favorite hotdogs are the Ball Park Park’s Finest Slow Smoked Hickory! They’re all beef with no artificial preservatives, nitrates, or nitrites added! We’ll be throwing plenty of these on the grill this football season, using the tips above.
Ball Park has made BBQ history!!
A team of all-star grillers set out in a NYC Grillathon to hold the record for the longest-running group BBQ. Be sure to see the video and amazing photos from this event on the Ball Park website.
