Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case Protector for iPhone or iPod

Last week I was shopping around on Amazon.com for a computer case. You know how Amazon shows things like “People who bought this, also purchase this..” well on my screen popped up this toy from Fisher-Price that screamed BUY ME!

My children are always wanting to play on my iPod, there are so many fun apps for them now a days, but my fear is to let them play without both of my eyes glued to what they are doing.

The Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case lets your little ones play with their favorite apps without the worry of your iPhone or iPod being broken.

ipod holder

The Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case is compatible with iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 2nd, 3rd & 4th generation Apple devices. To use the case, simply place your device face down and slide the backing into place. The case is secured with a lock on the backside that can only be opened with the use of a coin or something like a flat butter knife.

Included are 3 applications that are free for download from the appstore. If you search Laugh & Learn in the appstore you will find them for download, even without the apptivity toy. The apps are aged for 6 months up to 4 years, my 4 year old has no interest but my 18 month old LOVES the apps.

My Overall Thoughts

There are a few things that I would change about the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case. The volume and power buttons can not be accessed without taking the back off of the toy, it can be annoying to take the toy apart to turn it off when your child is done playing.

I love the big oversized handles that make the toy easier to grasp. I love the plastic shield in the front that protects your iPod or iPhone from drool and slobber, and I love the security knowing that my child can enjoy playing with their favorite applications and I don’t have to worry about dropping, drooling, or even scratching of my device.

Even with the draw backs, I’m very happy that I purchased the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case. This is a must have toy for entertaining your children while in a grocery cart, while making dinner and when they are fussy.

See how cool this case really is!

Oh my gosh, THANK YOU for reviewing this! I actually like that they can’t mess with the volume buttons since they often like to turn up the volume (ALOT!) It’s nice there are some free child appropriate apps too. Great review!

Ohh this is so sweet! my 2 kids wants to play on my iPhone too but it can really be heart racing when they started fighting over it. A time may come when the fight began and bam! poor iphone broken, poor kids not being able to play the iphone anymore, and poor me! This will be really helpful thank you!
