Crest & Oral B Pro Health Plaque Control Review #CrestSponsored

Last month you may remember a post about the Crest Test Drive Campaign that I was taking part in. I received several products from the Crest and Oral B Pro Health Clinical Plaque Control line and have been using them on a daily basis over the last month.

These products included:

Crest Pro Health Clinical Mouthwash
Oral B Pro Health Glide Floss
Crest Pro Health Plaque Control Toothpaste
Oral B Pro Health Pro Flex Toothbrush

Two pregnancies have done a number on my teeth. With each pregnancy I gained a gag reflex symptom when brushing my teeth, making it very hard to brush, and for the first time my teeth developed a few cavities.

Since those pregnancies I have been taking every step possible to ensure my teeth remain as healthy as they can be. Once teeth are gone.. they are gone! So taking care of them is so important.

I’ve been a Crest Pro Health momma for a long time, though the Plaque Control products were new to me.

Each morning and night I have a regimen to floss, brush and rinse.

oral b glide flossUpon first use of the Glide Pro Health Floss I instantly felt an improvement. The word “glide” took on true meaning, the floss was so silky and slid between each of my teeth without any effort. No catching, rough strings or pulling at my teeth. This floss truly made flossing so much easier and all discomfort that comes with flossing was gone.

I’ve been using the Crest Pro Health toothpaste for a while, though this was my first experience with the Plaque Control line. I love this toothpaste.. in fact I have loved every toothpaste from the Pro Health line. There is a new level of cleanness and my teeth always feel so clean after brushing. What makes me feel good is knowing that this toothpaste is not only making my mouth feel clean, it is always protecting my mouth in so many areas.

clinical-rinseThe Crest Pro Health Clinical Mouthwash was probably the least liked product out of what I reviewed. There are many great aspects of what this mouthwash will do:

• Clinical strength plaque and gingivitis protection
• Not only reduces plaque, it is clinically proven to help prevent plaque regrowth
• Helps prevent and reverse gingivitis in as little as 2 weeks.
• Kills 99% of germs to improve breath

Before this review I used the Crest Pro Health Multi Protection rinse on a daily basis. I love these rinses because they don’t have the powerful burn of alcohol that many rinses have, they feel good in my mouth and always leave my mouth fresh. While the Crest Pro Health Clinical Mouthwash is not a bad rinse, and didn’t taste bad, there was a lingering foaming effect that I experienced when using it.

My Final Thoughts: I’m still using most of the products from this line with the exception of the mouthwash. It’s been just a few months since my last visit to the dentist and my teeth still feel very smooth and clean. I plan to continue using the Crest Pro Health Plaque Control toothpaste and the Oral B Pro Health Glide Floss, these were my favorite and truly won me over.

We use mostly Crest products, since I was a kid! We will definitely get the floss. The toothpaste we have already used, I love trying their new products. I love their whitening products the most! Crest is BEST!

I will have to give this a try. No matter how many times I brush a day, I still have a plaque build up!

I love that the floss is smooth! I haven’t tried it yet, but from everyone’s responses, I definitely want to try it out

Plaque is a sticky layer of material that begins forming on the teeth as soon as four hours after brushing. Plaque contains bacteria that can cause tooth decay and gum inflammation or gingivitis.

Tartar can be removed only by a dentist or dental hygienist, but fortunately, you can easily clean plaque from your own teeth whenever you want to..

I was the same way with brushing while pregnant. Anything that can induce the gag reflex is no good when already nauseated! LOL I do use and really like the pro glide floss!
