Funny! Yet Useful College Survival Kit Ideas for a Girl

A close friend of ours has a daughter that went off to college this year. Going off to college is such a monumental event, and I wanted to do something extra special for her. The hard part, however, was figuring out just what to do. College is a lot like getting married or having a baby. You’ll see tons of seemingly awesome gifts marketed everywhere you turn. Most of these end up never used or in the back of the closest within a few months.

I was determined to not have my gift to her end up being one of those gifts.

So, after much thought, I came up with a package filled with some essential college must haves that likely go overlooked when the college student in your life is thinking up their list of wants and needs:

Body wash with a Loofa

This is super important! Before going off to college, most students are used to having these essentials just magically appear in their bathroom, by means of that little fairy named Mom.

A bottle of Poo Pourri

Now this one is very important for the ladies. Learning to use community restrooms can be a bit odd and embarrassing at first. A few sprays of poo pourri sprayed into the toilet before going potty can mask the smell and helps to keep their private moment private!

A bag of dark chocolate espresso bean

Late night study sessions… nuff said.

Deodorant

I think this one is pretty self-explanatory as well. You can never have too much deodorant.
