Add Your Name to the Wait List From Home! Outback Steakhouse

It’s not very often when my family gets a chance to eat out for dinner. Most times, our eating out can only be done during a date night with my hubby. The last date night we had, the baby sitter was able to stay with our children for a couple of hours. We decided to visit Outback Steakhouse and then do a little bit of Christmas shopping, but unfortunately things didn’t work out that way.

Our dinner date ended up taking the entire date night, mainly because we waited until the busiest time of night on a Friday to go eat dinner. Not that I’m complaining! Nothing beats a date night at Outback Steakhouse, but it would have been nice if we could have done more during our time out.

Outback recently did a survey asking consumers about their typical wait time at restaurants across the country and found that, on average, Americans have waited nearly 40 minutes to be seated at a restaurant — which is more time than it takes to cook and eat an entire meal.

So it seems that I’m not alone…

Add Your Name to the Wait List From Home! Outback Steakhouse

Outback Steakhouse® is empowering guests to take control of their restaurant experience through the introduction of Click Thru Seating on Outback.com – giving anyone, anywhere access to wait time information and the ability add their name to the wait list before they arrive – helping hungry guests get seated faster.

How does Click Thru Seating work?

  1. Visit www.outback.com/seating
  2. Choose whether you want to be added to wait list right now, or at a later time in the day
  3. Then you’re on the list! The Outback Steakhouse Click Thru Seating will then give you the arrival time of when to check in

The holidays are arriving and times are busier than ever, now we can make a dinner visit to Outback Steakhouse and save time in our day… or date night! I’m already planning our next date night and can’t wait to use the Click Thru Seating option.
