Roxy entered our family in 2005. She is a full bred Shih Tzu and probably one of the most loving dogs I’ve been around. Each night she curls up to me in bed, when my husband leaves in the morning she curls up on the pillow next to me, on the couch you will always find her sitting by my shoulder or at my side.
I’m sad to say that Roxy hasn’t received as much attention from me as of lately, a busy life with two young children is to blame for that. So when I have a few moments to give Roxy attention a treat is often given to show her a little love.
Roxy has been putting on a little weight since having a baby around so treats can sometimes be a concern. Andrea finds it quite entertaining to throw food off of her highchair to the dog, remember my Wordless Wednesday post about the Guardian of the Highchair? Each little mac n cheese noodle, baby puff, spilt milk and everything else that makes it to the floor, seems to find it’s way either onto Roxy’s fur or into her belly.
Cesar Cookie Crunches are the perfect treats for small dogs. To make things better, each treat is only 10 calories! This makes me happy to know the treats we give her from Cesar won’t be contributing to her weight problems, but only showing her a little love and appreciation.
We received two flavors of Cesar Cookie Crunches, Rotisserie Chicken & Filet Mignon. Each bag contained 130 pieces and the aroma was actually delightful!
The minute we open the cookie jar, Roxy does her pretty sitting dance and patiently waits for the cookie treat to drop.
She really seems to love her new cookie treats with no preference over flavor. One treat a day, a 130 piece bag, this seems like a great value and a perfect addition to any small dog’s diet.
