Pewi yBike Toddler Walker and Ride On Toy | Review

yBike Pewi

Neither of my little monkeys enjoyed walker toys, they could never grasp the concept and mainly used them for sit down play. What point is a walker or ride on toy if they won’t use them for that purpose?

The yBike Pewi is a modern day walker and ride on toy for your toddler. I’ve heard many great things about the Pewi and was excited to see what made this toy so different from others on the market.

Would my little monkey treat this walker differently?

The Pewi is made with an aluminum frame that will support your little one from as early as 9 months old up to 36 months, or 44 Lbs. Already this is great because your child can enjoy the yBike Pewi not only as a learning tool with walking, it can also be used as a fun ride on toy while learning to balance.

What makes the Pewi different from other traditional baby walkers is the design, each leg has a multi directional caster that allows the toy to ride easily in any direction. The wheels are made with non marking rubber which make the Pewi great for indoor or outdoor play. Sure, the Pewi is super cute! This super cute design was made to enhance your child’s body awareness while learning to walk.

My Take on the yBike Pewi

I had two little testers while reviewing the yBike Pewi.

Andrea is my youngest at 16 months and on Christmas eve she took her first several steps. It’s so fun to watch your child learn to walk, their little brain wheels start turning and you can see how hard they want to balance and go. Christmas Day I brought out the yBike and showed it to Andrea, she LOVED it! We played for the first time in our kitchen and she grabbed the fun little face and went from one side of the room to the other.

The main thing I noticed was how easily the walker moved, with a light touch Andrea was quickly running around almost like the yBike Pewi was guiding her. My favorite aspect was how wide the front legs are spread out giving her plenty of room to walk, other ride on toys seem to be created so your child has to lean forward and push the toy themselves.

My niece came over this past weekend, she just turned 2, and almost instantly her attention went to the Pewi yBike. The seat and height was perfect for her little legs and she loved scooting around our living room.

It was great to see both ages interact with the yBike Pewi as I quickly realized how well this toy will fit into our home. This isn’t going to be a 4 month toy and it’s gone, the Pewi is the the perfect step to help guide your child’s development of balance and motor skills.

PLEASE share the dangers of this product. Multiple injuries have been reported as there is a major tipping over hazard when riding this unit. Read the reviews at Amazon, Walmart, etc. to familiarize yourself with all the broken teeth and facial injuries this has caused to babies. This is not a safe product by any standards.

Hi if you don’t mind my asking– how big is the box that it came in? I’m planning to have it shipped outside the US and need to know dimensions. I would appreciate your help. Thank you.
