Budweiser Clydesdale – Warm Springs Ranch Missouri – Public Tours Available!

Budweiser and summer just kind of go together. That’s why we tied it into a family outing on a nice day, and traveled to Boonville, MO to visit a unique Budweiser facility. Kids and all! This was a different kind of party though. No liquor involved (now you didn’t doubt me, did you?). We visited the place where the Budweiser Clydesdale are created. Literally! Warm Springs Ranch “Where Dreams Are Born”.

If you’ve ever seen a Clydesdale, you know they are beautiful and majestic breed of horses.  The Budweiser Clydesdale is the crème de la crop. At the facility, located on 300 acres of beautiful fields lies over 100 Clydesdales ranging from foal to stallion. These horses are treated like royalty, from the breeding process, throughout life! All of the equipment used for breeding is state of the art. They even have an awesome monitor that is used to alert Mommies doctor when she’s in labor! They are on call 24 hours to come and assist during that time!

Every step of the Clydesdale’s care is carefully calculated and executed, and you can see the genuine love between the animals and their caregivers.

Each animal has a story, and a unique personality. I met one mommy who was 11 months pregnant with a 150 pound baby!! After birthing 2 children of my own (each under 150 pounds, luckily) I felt like I had a special connection with this momma and a WHOLE lot of admiration!

The tour last about 1.5 hours and is very intriguing. There’s a lot of info given the tour, but don’t worry, you’ll have a chance to unwind at the end with a complimentary Budweiser (except on Sundays, when it’s illegal to sample alcohol). I highly recommend this tour for you and your family. Tickets are $10, but reservation spots fill up quick so be sure to reserve yours today!

I had no idea there was a ranch with real horses, let alone that you could go visit there. What a high tech ranch, love the monitor that tells the vet it’s time.
