Valentine’s Day Dinner Idea | Chili’s 2 for $20 |
Chili’s opened as a fun Dallas burger joint with a loyalty to happy hour and blue jeans. We prided ourselves on our humble beginnings, following a devotion to great food, warm hospitality and community spirit. Today, with restaurants all over the world, we continue to cook up the best in casual fare, offering the same genuine service we did way back when. And, just as in 1975, we’re committed to giving back to the communities that have helped us grow.
My husband and I have been contemplating where we can take our two little monkeys out to eat for Valentine’s Day. We needed something that is kid friendly, allergy friendly for Andrew and affordable for our pocket books.
Chili’s has a new $20 dollar dinner for two menu that includes an appetizer and two full size entrees. We have ordered from the 2 for $20 menu on previous visits to Chili’s however, the new menu now includes items from the lighter side of options and steaks! This sounded like it would be great for everyone in the family.
We rounded up the munchkins and headed out to our favorite neighborhood Chili’s restaurant.
The first selection was appetizers. Our choices included Fried Cheese, Crispy Onion & Jalapeno Stack, Tostada Chips & Salsa, Tostada Chips & Fire Grilled Corn Guacamole or a half order of Texas Cheese Fries.
The appetizer selection is usually the only thing we can agree upon when eating out, good thing this is the only thing being shared 
We selected the Fried Cheese, in laymen terms these are mozzarella sticks. Yumm!
The selection of Entrees is great! The $20 for 2 entrée selection included Fried Shrimp, Quesadilla Explosion Salad, Classic Bacon Burger, Cajun Chicken Pasta, Margarita Grilled Chicken, Classic Sirloin Steak, Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs, Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, Chicken Crispers (Original or Crispy) and Chicken Fajitas.
My selection was the Bacon Ranch Quesadillas and my husband went with the Cajun Chicken Pasta. I really loved that the selection of entrees is so diverse and there are options for everyone in the family, from chicken lovers, to those watching their waist line, to steak lovers and everyone else in between.
Chili’s is always a great place to bring your family, Andrea was a little bit on the fussy side and our waitress was concerned enough to check on us to see if we needed anything to help her out. I love that we can eat there, feel welcomed, get great service and have a nice meal without tearing a hole in my wallet.

Southwestern Egg Rolls
I’m weird and don’t usually have an entree, I have an appetizer for my entree. Usually I go with either the Southwestern Egg Rolls or the Boneless Buffalo Wings depending on my mood. But I haven’t visited Chili’s in four years since my husband was laid off, so those items may not be on their menu anymore.

This is awesome. Ive mentioned before that I have 4 boys and if we go out to eat it has to be a restaurant where the menu appeals to all of us and is family friendly. Chilis menu is awesome.

I absolutely LOVE their buffalo ranch chicken sandwich! I’m doing these entries in an attempt to build up items because I’m getting married next year!
It’s terrible for you, but I love their country fried steak.

I haven’t been in a year or so~~ we don’t eat out much! but last time my husband and I went for date night. I got this alfredo dish that had a kick and it was SO yummy! I don’t think they have it on the menu any more! Thanks for picking me ;)
My boyfriend took me to Chili’s for my birthday a few weeks ago. I tried the Classic Sirloin 6 oz. It was pretty good. I also like the grilled chicken sandwich.
I just ate at Chili’s today!! I had the 6oz classic sirloin. Yumm!!
Baby back ribs though I can’t wait to try the bacon chicken quesadilla.
