Treat Mom During Back to School Shopping at Famous Footwear #ReebokMom

I’m one of those moms who tend to take care of the children and often forget to take care of myself too. This year, during our back to school shopping for the kids, I took a moment during our visit to Famous Footwear and shopped for a pair of shoes for myself.
This Summer weather has been rather cool and I have been taking advantage of it with long walks around the neighborhood. My shoe collection mainly consists of flip flops, sandals and flats. If I was going to be taking more walks outside, a good shoe was definitely needed to keep my feet comfortable and happy.
Before heading out, I took a gander at the Famous Footwear website to see what kind of shoes were of interest. I was really excited to see that Famous Footwear was having a Buy One Get One 1/2 Off sale along with a 20% off coupon for rewards members. There was great potential for amazing savings and great value for our purchase.
I’m all about the bright colors on my feet!
The shoe I went with was the Rebook Women’s Realflex Run in Grey/Teal/Cosmic Pink. My local store didn’t have this style in stock when we were back to school shopping, so I hopped online when we got home and ordered them within minutes.
When the shoes arrived, I noticed how much brighter the colors were in real life. While I wasn’t disappointed, they were much different then what was pictured on the website.
I’ve been taking many walks in my new Reebok shoes and loved these main features:
- Mesh upper lining to keep the shoe breathable
- Flexible Realflex Sole
- Bright Colors
My feet are not narrow, I would say they are borderline wide. This Reebok shoe is narrow in the sole, however I didn’t feel bothered by this at all. I love how lightweight they are and didn’t experience painful feel during the “break in” period.
This was my first back to school shopping season and I’m so happy to have participated in this campaign. Not just because I was able to get some new shoes, this campaign really helped me realize that treating myself to things like this is important and it really makes me feel good about myself.
I think this is going to become a tradition to get mommy some new shoes along with the children during the back to school season. This sale at Famous Footwear made it so easy to take care of mommy without breaking the budget.

Great store and I just love Reebok shoes! I need new running shoes and your post has reminded me how much I love that brand. I too have wide feet and always found them comfy.

I like Famous Footwear because they have a great variety of shoes and always a good deal and /or coupons. They have a great selection of sizes too. I like the reeboks you chose.
Im glad to see Reebok is stepping up their style. Iuse to love my Reeboks in the 80’s. Remember the white hightops with two velcro straps, loved them and loving the new style.
The Reebok’s are really nice and they wear well. I like that they have name brand shoes all under one roof make it so easy to shop with the family. We don’t usually buy off brands we stick to the ones we find wear well so we shop there on a regular basis.
Like that they are having this sale. I think as mom’s, we are always putting our children first and so many times we are neglected because someone is always in need of something. Glad you got a great pair of shoes

I love being able to take advantage of BOGO deals. I have two girls, though, so usually I buy for them. Of course, if the hubs and I both need shoes, we could always buy EVERYONE new shoes!
I love the bright colors, especially for workout/jogging shoes! The more visible the better!
They look like a great shoe. I love how bright colorful it is. I don’t know if I like the way the sole looks I’ve seen from shoe shopping that some companies are using a plastic like croc like bottom to their shoes now and I’m not a fan of that.
I’m the same way, I take make sure my kids have everything before I even think about my needs. Just the other day we went to Famous Footwear for the second time in a month and I finally decided to treat myself to a new pair of sneakers. I really like those Reebok and the colors.
Im not a fan of the bright colors…but I love the buy one get one half off.
