The time has come to transition from a crib to bed. We recently reviewed a Southshore furniture bed in Andrew’s room and decorated it to his choosing. Because he got a new bed, it was perfect timing to move Andrew’s old twin bed into Andrea’s room. This is a big step for Andrea and I wanted to make the transition from crib to a bed special.

Now that we have the bed, all that was needed was some bedding to go along with it. My envisions were pink, girlie and enchanting.

The Song Bird 4pc Twin Set by Jojo Designs was my first choice from the Beyond Bedding website. I love the song birds, the pink and everything about this bedding. This really made Andrea’s room feel like a haven for a sweet little princess.

This is our second time experience with kids bedding sets from Beyond Bedding. The quality is always great and the children’s bedding is made to last. This time was no exception.

I love the colors in this bedding set, however the colors received are not true to the colors on the website. The pink hue is much brighter in person and you can kind of see from my pictures that the pink puts off a pink tone in the bedroom.

But don’t get me wrong! The bedding is really beautiful and I love it. Andrea loves it!

The delicate designs in the comforter and pillow case are put together in a patchwork layout. The song birds, flowers and leaves are all made of appliqués outlined with embroidery. Washing is not a problem either, so no worries if your child spills or gets sick in bed! This Sweet Jojo Designs bedding set is made for easy washing and repeated use.

The Transition from a crib to a bed:

Andrea has snuggled in nicely to her big girl bed and loves to get cozy under her new comforter. All of her animals are nicely piled onto the bed. The lump that you see in the bed is a beach towel rolled up and tucked under her mattress pad, this was easier than using a bed rail and it works great!
