“This is Our Life” 52 week project hosted by Paint by the Moon

Week 3 Theme is “This makes me wish we could stop time”

This afternoon, after bubby had gone off to school, I sat in the living room with my 2 year old daughter. She was day dreaming and so was I. I was dreaming about her, how this time has gone so fast and how she will possibly be going off to preschool next year for the Early Childhood development / therapy.

The way her hair was so perfectly laid upon her shoulders, her beautiful blue eyes staring off into the distance.

Moments like this make me wish I could stop time. I’m going to miss spending time like this with my beautiful baby girl. It only lasts so long and then you are left wondering where the time went.

If only we had just a moment longer…

What a beautiful picture! And you’re completely right…I somehow can’t look at old photos of my now-13-year-old daughter without tearing up. My ‘baby’ isn’t much of a baby anymore.

This is a great picture and definitely a kodak moment. I never seem to have a camera handy when I see these moments. My nieces are growing up so fast and I try to take as many pictures as I can to try to capture them growing up.

Yes, it would be nice to stop time…but it’s also great to have so many wonderful moments to look forward to!

She really is so pretty and you’re right…where does time go. All mine are grown and even the grandchildren are growing up so quickly. I miss the age your daughter is at right now. Loved the things they’d say that you’d least expect to hear from them. Treasure them now is all you can do because tomorrow, they will be grown up.

Why you have to stay ‘in the moment’ and not the future or the past. Beautiful picture of beautiful girl.
