Take This Easy Step & Help End Child Hunger in America

Shares

The reality in American today is that more than 1 and 5 children are hungry.

When you think about people who can’t afford food, you probably imagine those who live in low income housing. There are millions of Americans out there who have lost their jobs, lost their homes and they are trying to do everything they can just to put a meal on the table for their children.

This face of hunger effects so many people, middle class people, possibly even your next door neighbor.

There are over 354,000 children alone, who are hungry in my state of Missouri.

  • When I think about how much food we throw away around here on a daily basis, it makes me feel terrible that 1 in five kiddos would benefit so much from that same food that my kids turn their noses up at nightly. Thanks for the info on the site... I'll check for codes.
  • What an easy to way to help out! I caught myself complaining yesterday that my fridge was too full to put anything else in after our easter gathering, then I had to stop and thank the Lord that we have plenty of food when so many others don't. Thanks for the reminder.
