Strawberrie Rose Petti Tutu Couture Collection
There is something special about a little girl dancing around in her tutu. The fluffy skirt that bounces around, the squeals from feeling like a princess, and the awe factor from seeing your little girl in a special made tutu.
Andrea just celebrated her second birthday as a Hawaiian princess. We went with a Luau birthday theme and knew that she needed a hula skirt to complete the outfit. I didn’t want to do just any hula skirt! We needed a tutu that Andrea could dance around in, with the inspired look from a Luau.
Yes, I wanted to be different. Don’t we all?
There was only one place I knew to go for this task, Aimee at Strawberrie Rose Petti Tutu Couture Collection. Aimee creates high end petti tutus, each petti tutu is hand made with specialty imported materials and tons of time and love.
Before Andrea was born, I dreamed of having a little girl who could wear a tutu from Strawberrie Rose! Seriously.. they are that stunning!
A few months ago I emailed Aimee and told her about Andrea’s birthday party. During our conversation, I showed her the yellow and white polka dot swim suit that she would be wearing, and gave her a simple envision of what I was looking for.
Then I left it in Aimee’s hands…
I knew there would be no disappointment, and my instincts were right.When I received Aimee’s hand made creation at my door, there were serious tears flowing.
Absolutely beautiful, so much tulle and fluff, the Hawaiian flower was perfect.. simply stunning. These were some of the comments from friends and family who attended her party, and my first thoughts as well!
We have owned many tutus over the last few years, and one thing that I noticed there was a difference in is the overall feeling of the material. The tulle that Aimee uses is not scratchy and I could really tell there was a lot of work and detail put into making Andrea’s tutu. It’s obvious to me that Aimee has a passion as this petti tutu was simple pure perfection.
Tutus are an investment when it comes to your little girl’s wardrobe. Seriously! You want something that will last so it can be used over and over again.
Andrea has asked to wear her tutu several times since the birthday party, and I even found a way to reuse it for Halloween.
I picked up a few clearance pieces from the summer collection at Gymboree and turned Andrea into a bumble bee for Halloween! All I need to do is make a cute headband with antennas and she will be set to go.
