Sesame Street Let’s Rock! Elmo from Hasbro Review
It’s music time! Rock out with LET’S ROCK! Elmo Dressed in a concert-style tee, Elmo takes the stage singing and making music – and preschoolers can too!
Andrea just turned 19 months and introducing her to music has been an enjoyable experience. She bops, dances and twirls her babies around whenever she hears her favorite songs.
Doesn’t every mom just smile and swoon when they see their baby shaking their moves? 
There are so many reasons to introduce your little one to music, it’s fun for them, music enriches their sensories and it’s been told that just listening to music will help make a big impact in their learning experiences later in life.
What’s even better than listening to music is when they actively experience it hands on.
Let’s Rock! Elmo is ready to play music with his drums, tambourine and microphone all while interacting with your child with each of his instruments. Move on over pots, pans and spoons!
Andrea LOVES Elmo and we were ready to bee bop with Let’s Rock! Elmo when he arrived at our door. Elmo is dressed in his most fashionable rock tee shirt and comes with a set of drums, tambourine and microphone.
Place the tambourine in Elmo’s hands, slide the drums under his feet or place the microphone into his other hand and magically Elmo will recognize which instrument he is playing and start to sing and dance.
Apparently, Let’s Rock! Elmo is good for other things as well. Andrea loves to dress up Elmo with some potato head glasses and feed him waffles. Funny girl..
Let’s Rock! Elmo is perfect for children of the ages 18 months to 4 years, my little girl is 19 months and loves him, my son is 4 and could care less. I personally feel that he would be great up until around 3 years old, that’s when my son grew out of Sesame Street and moved onto super heroes and other preschooler type cartoons.
My Thoughts
Most toys that come into our house are played with momentarily and then tossed aside for a while, there are very few toys that make it into the every day rotation. We have had Let’s Rock! Elmo for a few weks now and Andrea seems to play with him almost on a daily basis.
I love that Elmo doesn’t just play 1 or 2 songs, perhaps it is because Let’s Rock! Elmo plays 6 songs my little one is able to stay more interested in him. Not to mention the songs Let’s Rock! Elmo plays are so fun! I find myself singing along with the songs.
The instruments are so easy to place on Elmo, they are perfectly sized for Andrea’s hands and she knows exactly how to use them with Let’s Rock! Elmo.
I’m so glad that we had a chance to play with Let’s Rock! Elmo, he is definitely more fun “out of the box” then in sample mode at the store.

When I first saw this toy it seemed to me to be one that would only hold my son’s interest for a short spell. BUT, a neighbor has it and he goes for it EVERY time we are at their house. He also spots it at Target, etc and we spend a good deal of time checking it out before I can get on with my shopping. I’d love to surprise him with this prize!
