What memories do you have from your childhood?

One of my favorite memories involved California and Sees Candy. Odd combo right?

I’m a Midwestern girl, though growing up a lot of my family resided in Southern California. Every year when I would fly out to visit, greeting me would be a box of See’s Candy. Nuts and Chews, these were my absolute favorite.

Since those times, See’s has slowly moved out this way to the Midwest and of course they are now available online. If you have never stopped by a See’s Candy store you must. There is something about walking into their aroma filled store and being greeted by a See’s Candy employee who is handing out their sample of the day.

This is a great way to try them out too!

See’s contacted me to see if I would like to do a review, are you kidding me? Of course I would!

Here is what I got:

  • See’s 1 Lb Box of Nuts and Chews
  • See’s Walnut Fudge
  • See’s Peanut Brittle
  • See’s Petite Boo Box

chocolate assortment I’ve tried many See’s candies, however the Walnut Fudge and Petite Boo Box were a first time experience for me.

My all time favorite from See’s are the Nuts and Chews. This mixture of chocolates is the perfect combination of caramels, peanuts, almonds, walnuts and pecans. Whenever I receive a variety box of chocolate, the first gone are the caramels and peanut clusters. These are the best in any chocolate variety, so it just makes sense to create a “Nuts and Chews” mixture of the best candies out there.

Halloween Chocolate Gift Box

The See’s Halloween Petite Boo Box is a new feature for the holiday season. Perfect for treating a friend, just because, birthday, or a get well sentiment.

Tucked neatly inside of this cute owl box is a mixture of milk and dark chocolates, along with a chocolate butter that is topped off with a cute little candy pumpkin.

chocolate fudge

Being a fan of See’s candies for so many years, I’ve never had the opportunity to try their fudge. Until now.

See’s offers a variety of fudge flavors from Vanilla Walnut, to Chocolate Walnut, and even Bordeaux Pecan Fudge.

I’m not a big fan of vanilla fudge so we went with the Chocolate Walnut Fudge.

This fudge has the perfect combination of creamy milk chocolate fudge and big chunky walnuts. Most fudge I will find too rich and can only eat a very small piece. The See’s Chocolate Walnut Fudge is just perfect.

Looking at the reviews from the See’s website, it appears that many other people feel the same way!
