Organizing Life & Reaching Fitness Goals with the Samsung Family Hub
The age old saying goes “You never know what you have, until it’s gone”. What they fail to mention, however, is that it goes both ways. You sometimes don’t realize how much you DIDN’T have… until it’s gone. That was the case for us, and our old refrigerator. It was a side by side, with the fridge on one side and the freezer on the other. When we first purchased our old fridge, it seemed to fit our family well. Soon, our family had grown and so did the amount of food it took to feed us all. That’s when I began to realize just how much this fridge lacked.
The biggest problem with our old fridge was the small size and the shelves that didn’t allow for much organization. Food begin to pile up on top of each other and finding things became a nightmare! I knew at that point we were going to need new fridge, with a lot more space. What I didn’t realize, however, was all of the amazing features that would come with it… making my life a WHOLE lot easier.
Meet the Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator
Not only does the brand newSamsung Family Hub refrigerator we received from Nebraska Furniture Mart have TONS more space… it’s by far the most practical and efficient kitchen appliance I’ve ever owned. When I dreamed of having more room for organization in a fridge, I had no idea what all that would entail.
In addition to now having more than enough space to store all of our food items… we even have a family hub on a 21.5’’ touchscreen right on the front of our fridge. This hub comes equipped with music streaming from Pandora and other radio stations, shared google calendars, recipe suggestions and built-in cameras. There’s even an online grocery shopping feature, and I’m eagerly awaiting it to be available in our area. I now have all the resources I need to keep my busy family organized, right there in the kitchen!
I’m absolutely in love with the versatility of this fridge. What I thought would be an upgrade to our food storage, made life easier for the whole family.
The whiteboard is the most versatile feature for me, specially because you can add things to it from the fridge or directly from the Samsung Smart Home app on your phone. I post my weekly dinner plan right on the whiteboard along with some sweet love notes to my husband. It also makes leaving notes for the cat sitter super easy for the times we leave town.
Every morning, I can pull up MyFitnessPal from the internet browser, easily grab breakfast based on my plan. I can view my photo screen saver with all of my fitness related quotes and motivation photos of myself; all while having the tunes of Pandora playing in the background as I tackle cooking and cleaning. No excuses to not stay on top of those fitness goals!
Since my husband and I use the shared calendar to synchronize our schedules, I never have to worry about forgetting one of children’s sports events, lessons, or any family events we have coming up.
Not only did I gain an awesome fridge, I gained a tool that keeps my family and I positive, upbeat, and more organized that we’ve ever been!

I have a similar style of fridge, and like you, I absolutely love it! I cringe when I visit my mom’s place where she has the old side-by-side doors like you used to. Ugh! This fridge looks even more amazing with all the extra features it has on it. Wow!
