Outdoor Ride On Fun with the Joovy Race Car | Review
Andrew lives for the outdoors. This summer has been so hot and when he gets the chance to play outdoors, his toy of choice is his ride on race car from Joovy.

The learning curve to driving this race car is next to none. A simple turn of the key to get the race car sounds running, a push of a button to go forwards or backwards, and a push or pull of the throttle will get your child driving around the driveway like they are ready to hop in your car and take a spin.
With Andrew’s first ride on car that he owned, the tires quickly wore out after a few uses. There was one motor that spun one of the back wheels, so when he hit the gas pedal the result was spinning of both back tires.
Joovy has made a few enhancements to the race car ride on to prevent the above problem. First, this race car comes with two motors; one to spin each of the back wheels. Secondly, Joovy has placed a strip of rubber around each of the four tires to help them grip the ground with every push of the pedal.

The Joovy race car takes up very minimal space in your garage. When you own a ride on car, unless you have a 3 car garage, the thought of adding another toy makes us grumble. The garage becomes our hiding place for a lot of things and I really don’t want to store a ride on vehicle that is as big as the backseat of my mini van.
Even though the Joovy Race Car only seats one person, the compact size totally won me over!
The only thing that I would change about this car is maybe the addition of seat belts or a lowered seat with doors. Though we make Andrew wear a helmet, at 5MPH this race car zips around really fast.
I’m so happy to have this Joovy race car and it will be moving into our garage in the place of our other ride on. The size of the race car, features, quality, and fun factor make this ride on car great for all kids up to 80 Lbs.
