Creating an Outdoor Oasis at Pier 1 Imports #Pier1OutdoorParty #Sponsored #MC

Outdoor parties are one of my absolute favorite things about the summer. I love the smell of the grill going, the feel of the breeze on the back of my neck, and the company of great friends and family! We recently hosted an Outdoor Oasis party that brought together all of these factors, and more! We were graced with great food, company, and scenery!
The Setup:
We choose a beautiful day in June for our 11 guests to come hang out at our Outdoor Oasis. I emphasized that the theme of the night “Outdoor Oasis” meant to come dressed casually, comfortably, and ready to have a GREAT time! Knowing that I wanted my guest to feel transformed as they stepped into my serene Oasis, I headed straight to Pier 1 Imports! After perusing through Pier 1’s extensive collection of outdoor furnishings and accessories; I choose new pillows, several lanterns, and a drink tub; which all perfectly matched my rug and umbrella! I received TONS of compliments on the décor, and will definitely be heading back to Pier 1 to grab more pillows and a side table for the kids to eat, which I’ll pull out at my next summer party!
The Food:
The Peanut catered awesome chicken wings for our event! We add BBQed Burgers and hotdogs, and celebrated Kansas City Style! Of course, no BBQ is complete without tasty beverages! My guest enjoyed tasty limeraritas that paired perfectly with our wings! `
The Entertainment:
While the party started off as a relaxing, and calming event, and some point (perhaps after the second round of limearitas) we were ready to PARTAAY! The beautiful lanterns I purchased at Pier 1 came on at night to brighten the scenery, and we busted out the board games!
Overall, our party was a huge success! Our guest raved about how inviting the décor made it feel, and everyone left with smiles on there faces and promises to do it again soon.
