11 Scandalous Netflix Titles To Add To Your “Must Watch” List!

Summer seems to be pretty much all about kids. It seems as if I’m always coming or going. Between sports, crafts, and the usual summertime fun; I find myself neglecting to take time for myself to sit back and relax. This is a MAJOR no-no for mommies, as the extra time to unwind is important in giving you the energy boost you need to keep up with the kiddos. Ever heard the phrase “when Mommy’s happy, everyone’s happy?”. Yes it’s true, and yes…it goes both ways!
What to do then? I’d love to spend a day pampering myself, but I just don’t have the time. I’d love to get out on the town and enjoy some time to myself but, honestly, after wrestling with the kids all day; I don’t have the energy. Luckily Netflix has solved my dilemma! No need to get dressed up fancy, or worry about making plans or getting a designated driver! Instead, I grab my wine and a bowl of popcorn, and sit back and relax Olivia Pope style, while staying caught up on some of my favorite series.
Right now, I’m really into Orange is the New Black. Have you seen is? This awesome thriller is the only show right now that I would consider a Scandal rival. It’s that’s good. The twist and turns endured by blond hair blue eyed Piper as she toughs out her bid in prison (like real prison, not some comfy celebrity setup), keep me at the edge of my seat. I also learn a lot from this series. It sounds strange since it’s a fictional show, but I absolutely do. You start off at Season 1 seeing all these hardened criminals. As the show progresses, however, you start seeing background of each person, and what led up to them being in prison. It’s quite humbling to see how one mistake, or life event, can lead up to such serious punishment.
Don’t take my word on it though! I refuse to spill another detail. Head over to Netflix, and begin watching today. Be sure to start with Season 1, as Season 2 just came out earlier this month. You’ll be completely lost if you begin there.
