National Pie Month | Barbara’s Cookie Pies
I don’t want to talk about why so much of this Cookie Pie is missing.
Ok, maybe I do.
This little slice of heaven is a Barbara’s Cookie Pie and it’s here just in time for National Pie Month. My family and I have indulged in seven inches of Chocolate Chip Cookie deliciousness. With a buttery cookie crust and semisweet chocolate chips the only thing I needed to complete this craving stopper was a big glass of ice cold milk. For some crunch I discovered this dessert has chopped pecans mixed in.
What is a cookie pie? I had the same question. It starts with a buttery cookie dough crust from Barbara’s family recipe passed down for 3 generations. Then each cookie crust is filled with delicious cookie and candy toppings. It’s a cookie in a cookie! Each batch is lovingly made from scratch completely by hand with only the best ingredients.
Besides cookie pies, there are also tempting butter cookies you can purchase in an assortment and a Make Your Own Cookie Pie kit. What a wonderful gift idea a whole family can enjoy!

Unfortunately my husband has a gluten allergy so he wasn’t able to enjoy with us, which is ok because that means more for me. But if I had to offer a suggestion it would be wonderful to offer gluten free options.
A Handmade Cookie Pie by Barbara would be wonderful to bring to a get-together or would make a great dessert to share as an alternative to a birthday cake! I really would love to try the Almond Joyful Cookie Pie for my birthday in a couple months!
