Little Learner Children’s Books Make Reading Fun!

One of my favorite activities to do with the children is curl up on the oversized chair in our living room and read. Reading helps your mind slow down from a busy day, helps you reconnect with your kids and helps them learn so many basic language skills. My first born had a speech delay, reading to him and his little sister has become a big piece in  learning how to communicate.

Some of our favorite books are storybooks, popup books, picture books and finger puppet books. We received a collection of Little Learners Books from Parragon Publishing and they have become a part of our daily rotation.

I Can Share is a slide and see, interactive book from Parragon Books. This one is a favorite of my four year old and I love that it teaches him more about manners, animals, colors and life. My 20 month old loved the interaction that this book provided with the sliding tabs on each page.

I Can Share is great for children ages +1 and up.

A few times I have even caught them on our chair together while playing with their books. It’s great to see the connection that books bring to children and those around them. I love that the toddler books from Parragon are strong enough to withstand the abuse of young children, no longer do I have to worry about them turning the pages on their own and tearing up the pages.

The Dog I Love Best is a finger puppet book, and personally my favorite to read. I can make the doggy wiggle his head around with each page, it really brings attention and life to the book. Toddlers lose their attention span quickly and a little wiggle, a woof woof and a tickle from the finger puppet doggy, will bring your little one right back into the story.

This book is great interactive fun for children 6 months and older.

Touch and Feel Colors is an interactive, hands on book that is designed to engage children with the vibrant, bright colors, the touch and feel panels, and the fun designs. This is a great book to work on your child’s first words and it is so playful.
