Lisa Irwin | Kansas City Kidnapping | Friday Update

Lisa Irwin _1

My readers have been asking for updates on this situation, since I live locally to this little girl I wanted to fill you in with the things we are seeing and hearing on the news.

This story really saddens me and I hope it has a happy ending..

As of last night there was a press release that indicated that the parents of this precious little Lisa Irwin were no longer cooperating with the police. This is a claim that some family members are denying.

On Thursday night, FOX 4 attempted to contact the family at a Northland home where they are now staying, where an unidentified woman claimed that the family had "a deal" with a national news network and refused to talk to the media.

An unidentified man who later answered the door at the house only said "Thank you" when asked what the family had to say to the people helping to search for their missing child.

The family of Lisa Irwin’s parents in Independence told FOX 4 News that the family has done all they can to help police in the search for their child, and that they don’t blame them for not wanting to talk any more to police.

In a statement to the media earlier in the day, Jeremy Irwin’s sister disputed the police claim that the couple had stopped cooperating with detectives.

"We want the public to know we have never stopped cooperating with police," she said in a prepared statement. She said that the parents plan on releasing their own statement on Friday.

See the whole story on the Fox 4 Website

Just released a short while ago was more information about Lisa’s mom failing a lie detector test that was taking earlier this week.. here is the video

We are now on day 5, no signs of Lisa and I’m sick to my stomach… this poor little baby Sad smile

It is so unnerving to be so close to some bad happening. I do hope this does end happily, but the longer it goes on…
    May God help little Lisa.

It is my understanding the Mother failed a lie detector test and the Dad has
not taken one. Something is fishy. Gut feeling they sold or gave the girl away.

I live here in Kansas City, too, and I’m afraid it will end up being another “Susan Smith” — the mom (and possibly dad), for whatever reason, decided that it is no longer “convenient” for this little girl to live. I really hope I’m wrong!!!
