Jeep Adventure Jogging Stroller – New Features for an Active Mom

As I prepare for my second half marathon this year, I was very excited to try out the new JEEP Adventure jogging stroller! I have struggled in the past with finding a stroller that meets all of my criteria. I guess I am kind of a jogging stroller snob at times. I mean running is hard enough so the idea of adding more weight to my run means that I want to find a stroller that still makes running comfortable.

So the first criteria I was looking for was that the front wheel must swivel and turn. The JEEP Adventure stroller definitely met this criteria. A stroller must be easy to turn in order to not mess up the flow of your run.

My next criteria was that it must be light weight.  My son is 4 years old and weighs 36 pounds.  I have used three different jogging strollers, and the Jeep Adventure stroller definitely wins for the most light weight!

The handles are also adjustable to fit my height so I don’t feel like I am bending over while running.

Another important feature that I was looking for was that it had a large canopy for my son. He often likes to play video games or falls asleep on a run and hates when the sun gets in his eyes. This stroller’s canopy provides ample shade for our little ones.

Three other surprise features that I just loved about this stroller was that it has a mesh pocket for my son to put things in (be it superheroes, rocks, or a small stuffed animal), a cup holder for both he and I, and there is a metal bar on the lower back that goes across to make putting on the break easy. No more bending down to make sure the breaks are in place. Just simply step on the bar and taduhhhh, your little one is stopped quickly and safely.

One last feature I look for in a great jogging stroller is that it has to be compact. I occasionally like to change my running routes or push my son in road races, so I needed a stroller that could transport with ease. The JEEP Adventure stroller gets an A+ rating for this. It is easy to break down the two removable back wheels, and folds up nice and compact so we can load up and be running in no time.

Overall, this stroller meets all of my expectations and I am a very happy running mommy!  The only feature that I think could use some improvement in the engineering is the iBaby speaker system. My iPhone’s case did not provide an easy fit in the iBaby speaker compartment, and I found that when my iPhone was plugged in it wasn’t any louder than just listening to the phone itself. Honestly, this was not a make or break feature for me. I use the speaker case to hold my keys, and put my iPhone in a cup holder. Problem solved! I call this making the features work for you!

Jeep Adventure Jogging Stroller

If you are a walker/runner, or if you are just looking for a great stroller I would definitely urge you to consider this stroller. I think that you will be pleasantly surprised! So happy running with your little one this fall! I know I am going to be putting in the miles over these next few months and the Jeep Adventure jogging stroller is going to make my runs even more enjoyable!

Nice review. Does it fold? I couldn’t find anywhere a picture of that stroller folded.

I love that stroller. I has a jogging stroller when my youngest was a baby and it was a life saver.

I am actually looking for a single jogger – we have a double but sometimes I want to just go with the one child and then it feels so bulky to use the double!! This looks great!
