We own the original LeapPad and I was happy to see that the Magic School Bus Oceans game works on all LeapPad systems, including the Leapster Explorer and LeapsterGS systems.
My five year old has really taken a liking to video games. While I’m not so excited about that, we have found a compromise when it came to games like the Magic School Bus Oceans game.
I’m preparing to send Andrew off to Kindergarten and he is soaking up new things every day. In this educational game, my son has been learning about interesting ocean facts and he is rewarded along with way with special badges. When those special badges are earned, they can be redeemed to unlock additional features.
I love that the things my child is learning are things that he hasn’t been really exposed to. He has learned what many of the ocean characters are and gets really excited when new levels are unlocked.

When learning is fun, kids learn more. This looks like it qualifies.
My grandsons aren’t quite at that age group yet, but I will keep this in mind. I really like for them to be exposed to educational games because they always learn so much without even realizing they are sitting down and learning!
This would be perfect for a gift for my nieces. They fall into the age group and they love learning about animals. I know they have one of the LeapPad systems, but I am not sure which one. So it is great that the Magic School Bus Oceans game works on all of them. Thank you for the great gift idea!
I think LeapFrog is wonderful . They always have something for various ages to learn from. I’m sure my grandson would love this one. He likes the magic school bus. I like that these games also help teach the kids while they are having fun and they remember things more. All about education for the kids. Learn every day
