The Step2 All Around Easel for Two is the perfect toy for multiple children!
Here are my top reasons why I love this easel as a Christmas gift this holiday season:
- This is a toy that does not require the use of batteries
- Multifunctional – 3-in-1
- Grows with your child beyond a 6 month mark
- Doesn’t take a lot of floor space
- Resolves fighting between two kids who want to play with the same toy
- Develops writing skills
- Frees up my fridge from magnet letters and other magnet toys
- Requires your child’s imagination and creativity
- Did I mention that it does NOT use batteries?
- Perfectly priced for an art easel and built to last beyond the use of your child
Every Christmas starts with the shopping for batteries. It’s on the “to-do” list and we almost have to create a budget for them because of how many toys require them! This year I was on a mission to find great toys that required my children to use their imagination, are educational while being fun, and could be shared between my two children without fighting over who was going to play first.
The Step2 All Around Easel for Two is a 3-in-1 toy, with a magnetic dry erase board on one side and a chalk board on the other.
On each side of the easel there are two removable storage bins that can hold any of the included foam magnets or even chalk and dry erase markers for coloring. While the foam magnets were included, I was a little bummed that the chalk, erasers, or dry erase markers were not. So if you go with this toy for Christmas, be sure to purchase those to go along with the easel.
Installation was a breeze. There are only a few pieces included, just snap them together and screw into place. Couldn’t be easier to do!
I also like the fact that there is a clip on the dry erase side, so your budding artist can showcase their artwork from the Step2 All Around Easel for Two. You can even clip paper onto the easel for a coloring session, should they want a new surface to color on.
I’m really excited about this easel as it couldn’t be a better toy for a preschool aged child. My kids fight all the time over toys and “Who will play first”, it’s great that they can both play at the same time. Cleaning up the easel is simple to do and even the bins can be removed for easy cleaning. Portability is great too as it’s lightweight body makes it easy to move from room to room.
I’ve always been pleased with the constructability of Step2 toys and the Step2 All Around Easel for Two is no different. This will make a great addition to any child’s bedroom or playroom.
