Gender Neutral Designer Baby Clothes From Twotara

Did you know that about 40% of parents don’t find out the gender of their unborn child during pregnancy?

With this pregnancy, my husband and I are going to be a part of that 40% and wait to discover our second monkey’s gender. Because our first child was a boy, we’re prepared with all of the boy clothes and toys that we will need. We figure it’s a 50/50 shot that we’ll be able to reuse B’s things again.

This mommy likes to shop for baby things and it seems that what’s out there for gender neutral baby clothes are pastel green, yellow, or maybe orange and cream. It’s frustrating to shop for gender neutral clothes when there are so many cute things in pink and blue.

Kate Janeczko, the founder of Twotara, has redefined the newborn, gender neutral market by creating these adorable outfits that are reversible from pink to blue and back again! The versatility of Twotara makes it easy for parents to shop for baby clothes while keeping their baby’s gender a surprise.

Pronounced too-tahr-uh and named after the TUATURA chameleon-like lizard that changes color over time…similar to the brand’s two-in-one philosophy.

The “footies” that I received are so soft and well crafted. It would make a great gift for the parents who don’t know if they’re carrying a boy or girl.

These outfits are not simply printed blue and pink, they actually feel like 2 pieces fused together. Because of the double layer, pink & blue, the “footies” will be perfect for the cold month of December when our little one is set to arrive. ‘

Twotara designs gender friendly footies, gowns, rompers, hats, booties, and mits ranging in size from newborn to 0-3 months. These gender neutral designs are perfect for baby showers, Mother’s Day, and even great to hold onto for future children or hand me downs.

    From Twotara’s website I learned twotara (too-tahr-uh)
is named after the TUATARA (a chameleon-like lizard, native to New Zealand) that changes colors over time.

I like how they named the business, and I absolutely love this idea. I get so tired of yellow and green, and, as I wait and wait for this second baby to arrive any day now, it would be nice to have some things from the first that I can use again on this one even if it’s a different gender!

How ingenuous are they! I love that they thought to make their clothes interchangeable. Also love the name meaning.

I love the footie pajamas! They look so soft and just perfect. I love how they chose the name by tweaking the name of a New Zealand lizard slightly, it was a fitting namesake and memorable as well.
