Crayola Introduces Ultra-Clean Markers and ColorMax!

When most people think about summer, their mind tends to automatically gravitate towards the outdoor activities. Summer outdoor activities are great. They usually require minimal tools or preparation, and are great at wearing the kids out! The problem that arises, however, is what to do when outdoor activities are not an option! Those rainy days when the kids are stuck in the house; or those days that are unbearably hot, and outdoor activities pose a health risk! I think all parents have found themselves caught off guard on these types of days, usually resulting in bored (sometimes cranky) children.

I am making sure I am not caught off guard this year! We just made a trip to Joann’s yesterday and stocked up on a ton of art supplies for the kids to make things inside this summer, stopping summer boredom before it starts! When I am planning indoor crafts, I try to think ahead to avoid unnecessary mess and chaos (i.e. more work for me) whenever possible. That’s why my first stop in the arts and crafts store tends to be to the Crayola products. I love that their products are easy to wash off of clothes and fingers.

Crayola has raised the bar to a whole new level this year, however! They recently introduced their Ultra-Clean Markers and ColorMax! These are true washable markers!! Not only do these markers wash off hands and clothes in one cold wash, they also now easily wash off of other household surfaces like painted walls! If you’ve ever had that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach when you’ve turned around to discover that one of your little ones has moved from their paper onto a much bigger canvas… you understand exactly why this is so exciting!

I love that even after 100 years, Crayola continues to provide such high quality and innovative products! They spend the time to extensively research and test their products among kids, parents, and teachers in order to fully understand the wants and needs of their consumers! If you are looking for arts and crafts products for your children this summer, I highly suggest you give Crayola Ultra-Clean Markers and Colormax a try!

What’s your favorite indoor summer activity?
