Braun Forehead Thermometer – Cold & Flu Season
I received a Braun Forehead Thermometer for review. All thoughts are my own.
Winter is just around the corner. That means cold and flu season is looming. My kids don’t get sick very often but lately “M” has been cutting teeth like it’s her job. Unfortunately she has a case of the Mondays with teething and like many other kids her temperature rises a little. Its awfully hard to get a cranky overtired parent and baby to cooperate long enough to get an accurate temperature reading the traditional ways.
Sitting M comfortably in my lap I’m able to use the Braun Forehead thermometer with one hand and in as fast as 3 seconds I have a temperature reading. The display lights up so I don’t have to turn on all the lights if its the middle of the night and it even glows like a traffic light to give me an instant idea of how warm she is.
The only problem I can see with the Braun Forehead Thermometer is that the cap to protect the thermometer falls off easily. I do love that it is easy to store and clean though!

To be honest, I owned one of this thermometer too, but sad to say it didn’t last long in my hands. I must say that for the first month of use, it was great, but it seems not working for the next month. I love when you just have to point it in your child’s forehead directly and her body temperature is there. As of now, I am using the forehead one, but it’s a non-contact type of thermometer. Using this thermometer, I can have the body temperature of my child quickly without touching her and waking her up when she’s sleeping.
