Perfectly Brewed Boulevard & Bacon – Meet Boulevardia!

There are few things on this earth that I can think of so perfectly paired as brews and bacon. Seriously! If you’ve never tried the combination of the two together than you’ve pretty much missed out on the entire American dream… in my eyes, at least. They are delicious, and one of the many reasons we love attending Boulevardia each year! Since we are in Kansas City… the fact that there was also barbecue involved should pretty much go without saying.

What’s Boulevardia?

Only one of the most exciting events in Kansas City!  This year was the third year for the event, and it was just as fun as I remembered. Sponsored by Farmland Foods, Boulvedaria provides an awesome place for family, friends, and complete strangers to come together and enjoy a wide range of activities.

The activities at Boulevardia are chosen in a way that leaves something for everyone, regardless of how you like to have fun! You can choose to walk around taking in the beautiful art that is on display, or to listen to some of the awesome life bands that are playing throughout the event. The foodies can enjoy chowing down on some of the best food in Kansas City, period. For the young and the young at heart, they always have a carnival set up that allows you to play games, ride rides, and have the time of your life for hours on end!

The Bacon Eating Contest is another event that we love to check out when we go to Boulevardia. It’s a hoot! All that bacon must be washed down with a beer… it’s only right. Like the activities, there are beers to fit every adults taste. There is even an extra special beer that is brewed specifically for Boulevardia.
