Award Winning PlasmaCar Kid Powered Ride on Toy | Review

Plasma Car

The PlasmaCar, by PlaSmart, is a mechanical marvel that makes use of the most
inexhaustible source of energy; kid-power.

Plasma Car

PlasmaCar is every parent’s dream. No batteries, electrical parts to break, no noise, inexpensive and provides hours and hours of fun.

Made by PlaSmart, PlasmaCar uses the natural forces of inertia, centrifugal force and friction to create a toy that only requires one thing, the power of your child.

How does it work?

The PlasmaCar comes in 5 different colors and will support children and adults up to 220 Lbs. This quiet and unique toy is operated by simply turning the steering wheel back and forth. The natural forces will send you away at 6mph, making this toy safe kids and fun for adults.

My Experience

Both my 4 year old son and my husband decided to take the Plasma car out for a ride in the driveway. This self driven toy took no time at all to learn how to ride! My son hopped on and with a few turns of the steering wheel he was riding all over the driveway. Imagine taking a ride on the tea cup type ride or playing on a sit and spin, where spinning of the ride or toy will only happen when the child turns the center wheel. The PlasmaCar works very similar and took no effort at all from my 4 year old.

We did find that the PlasmaCar works best on flat surfaces, the smoother the better. While the speeds will go up to 6mph, on surfaces like the driveway his speeds were much slower. After taking the PlasmaCar into the garage his speeds were much faster. While we did not try our tiled kitchen floors, the PlasmaCar website does not recommend riding on laminate or hardwood flooring.

PlasmaCar

Many people have been raving over the PlasmaCar and you will find positive reviews all over the internet. The Plasma car has won numerous awards including the iParenting Media Awardclassic_seal_low_res.

There is a reason for all of this talk about the PlasmaCar!

When you talk about a toy that does not use batteries, will not break on you and uses your child’s energy to play, there is nothing bad you can say. My son and husband fight over who will play first and this is always the first toy they grab when going outside. I can see the PlasmaCar being a toy that will be around for years to come and we all love that this is fun for the whole family.
