Benefits of ACE Brand Elastic Bandages During Physical Therapy

Growing up, ACE™ Brand Bandages were the most convenient bandage on the market. They were, and still are, stretchy, durable and convenient. However, the one thing I always found myself having trouble with, was keeping the bandages wrapped securely! After a few uses, you quickly learned that the bandage would unravel, and possibly even snag your clothes.

Apparently ACE™ Brand heard my whining, because… they fixed the clip!

Benefits of Ace Brand Bandages During Physical Therapy

The new ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage with the improved ACE™ Brand Clip is awesome! The clip is easy to adjust, stays fastened, and prevents clothing snags. The ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage with ACE™ Brand Clip also provides customized compression, allowing you to firmly support and compress sprains (exactly what I need after my recent injury).

If you’ve ever suffered from an injury, you know that one of the hardest parts of recovery can be getting past the mental block caused by the horrific event. It’s scary. I understand the purpose of physical therapy, and the need to push myself in order to regain my strength and full function of my injured muscles. However, I fear reinjuring them by pushing myself too hard.

The ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage with the new ACE™ Brand Clip makes me feel more confident and secure during my physical therapy. The compression helps keep everything in place, and alleviates stress and irritation from my muscle. I’ve tried physical therapy with and without the support of the ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage. I quickly learned that physical therapy without the ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage with ACE™ Brand Clip earns me much more soreness and pain post therapy.

Because I use the bandage so often, I am VERY fortunate it’s so durable and easy to wash. I simply wash the bandage by hand in warm soapy water, and lay it out to dry. I then roll it up, and smooth out the wrinkles. When I’m ready to rewrap my injury, it’s all ready to go.

If you don’t already have the new ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandage with the new ACE™ Brand Clip in your medicine cabinet/first aid kit, I suggest you grab one to have in there in case of emergency. ACE™ Brand Elastic Bandages with the new ACE™ Brand Clip have so many great benefits, and are important to have on hand.

I had a lot of swelling from my knee injury and compression was so important to keep the pain down. Hope he feels better soon!

It’s interesting that not using elastic bandages during physical therapy could increase how sore you are after the therapy. My brother is going to be starting some physical therapy in the next week or so, so we might have to see if he could benefit from having elastic bandages. It couldn’t hurt to at least have him give it a shot for a little while to see if it helps.

I have some of these for my knees, but find recently that I need to look into something for my elbows. Getting older stinks.

I really like the way they fasten now. That’s so much better than it was.

I so enjoy the new clip. Makes it a heck of lot easier to use. Just used it on my football player the other day for a sprained wrist.

I need to check this out with the clamp. I have started walking and I have knee issues and this just may work.

I occasionally have trouble with my right knee, and I could definitely use something like this for those occasions.

I’m so glad they fixed the clip and that they come in black now! The tan would get so dirty.

That clip, with those ouchie teeth, was the bane of my existence when I was a kid! How I hated those things. They’d fall off and then I’d step on them, OUCH, or they’d snag the wrap itself and the wrap would start to look awful. I love these new clips! It’s about time!

You are exactly right! I could never get my bandage to stay on because I always had problems with those little metal clips .

With soccer season starting, my boyfriend is going to want that. His kids keep getting hurt and they would definitely come in handy. I like the brand clip! Better than what the clips used to be. lol

I haven’t used an Ace bandage in awhile, I’m glad that it has a clip, that’s handy! I appreciate that it’s durable and washable too.

The Ace Bandage clip is iconic! I never have had to use the bandage, so I don’t personally know of the woes users had with it. I love that Ace listened to its consumers and made a great product even better!

I have seen many reviews on this and am VERy interested. Although I have no (current) injuries… you never know when you need to wrap it up. :)

I haven’t used the new ones but I do have a wrist brace that I use regularly for carpal tunnel support.
