A Daddys Post | Dealing with Hair Loss

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Viviscal.
I received product samples and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Hair is funny in general.  It grows where you don’t want it and lacking where you do.  My hair started thinning out around my hair line when I was in college, or in early twenties.  Every male in my family is bald so it’s just a matter of time before it happens to me.  My hair loss only seems to bother me when other people point it out and comment on it.  I know it’s not your fault that hair thins and eventually falls out, it’s just a part of getting older.

I always told myself that I wouldn’t take medication or get painful surgery to try and reverse what mother nature had intended to happen. I know the medication is expensive and the surgery that takes hair seeds from the back of your head and transfers them to the front is not appealing. My brother had it done a few years ago and he has a sizable scar on the back of his head from it. I don’t think so!  I also found it funny to see the commercials that promote spraying your hair to make it look fuller.

My wife and Viviscal for Men have given me a chance to try Viviscal’s Hair Filler Fibers. I noticed a huge difference in what it looks like now from what it was before.

before

after

My hair line now looks like it did in high school without surgery or medication.  It was easy to apply, just sprinkle the fibers in the desired location and tapped the fibers down, just like the directions on the box.  We did this at night and I’m going to see if the fibers will stay in at night with all the tossing and turning I do.  The real test will be when I go into work tomorrow and get comments on it.  Everyone there seems to notice when I get a haircut, so hopefully I will get some positive feedback.

Overall, I am happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone that is concerned with thinning hair or hair loss.

How are the men in your life dealing with thinning or the loss of hair?

Cool! My husband was asking me to contact them and see if we could review it as his hair is receding and he hates it. Looks like it works.
