Step2 Easy Turn Coupe Review
As a Step2 Test Drive Mom, we are testing out the latest and greatest toys from Step2. The Step2 Easy Turn Coupe had it’s debut today at the NYC Toy Fair 2013 and we were given the opportunity to try it for ourselves. Just in time for the nice weather we have been having, this cool new ride showed up at our doorstep. Andrea is my test drive kid and took on the toy tester role with this Easy Turn Coupe.
The Step2 Easy Turn Coupe is the latest creation that features a new modern design all while combining some of the great features of previous Step2 toys, the Step2 Toddle Tune Coupe and the Step2 Easy Steer Sportster. The style is really sleek, the bright colors are attractive and our neighbor kids are totally jealous!
While the Step2 Easy Turn Coupe may look like a typical toddler car, there are some great new features that have really made this car awesome.
There is an addition of a third wheel, which you can see in the middle of the underside. This extra wheel can spin around in a 360 degree motion, allowing your child to easily steer the Step2 Easy Turn Coupe all over the road, or in our case- the living room. While we did have nice weather upon arrival of this hot ride, that quickly changed within a few hours. Welcome to the Midwest!
I’m loving the addition of cup holders! There are two molded cup holders in the back of the coupe and one additional holder up by the steering wheel, for a total of three cup holders. Andrea finds a way to fill every hole up, with her cup, snacks and unforgettable cell phone.
The front of the Step2 Easy Turn Coupe has an adorable face. Behind that face is a working hood! The hood doesn’t provide for additional storage, but it does give your child that optional feature to further their pretend play.
Inside of the Step2 Easy Turn Coupe, there is a working steering wheel, a working horn and an attached key that can be turned. When turned, your little one will hear click click click with the key and a beep beep beep with the horn. While my kids have no problems letting me know when they are coming, these added sounds make the Easy Turn Coupe super fun!
My favorite feature as a parent is the see through roof with handle. There is a platform base that can be attached inside of the car (optional), this allows your child to sit with their feet up and the parent can push the child around with the handle. The best part is the roof being see through, when I’m pushing Andrea around she can now look up at me to check things out and I can easily peek down on her without having to stop the car. LOVE this!
The Step2 Easy Turn Coupe will retail for $59.99, this is an awesome price for a toy of this magnitude! Geared for children ages 1 – 5, this toy is one that can be used for a long time to come.
